Located in the heart of the Matanuska valley yet out of the notorious valley wind tunnel, you will find your paradise off Mountain Trails drive. GPRA - Government Peak Recreation Area

GPRA adjoins the 300,000 acre Hatcher Pass Management Area. Hatcher Pass consists of mountainous terrain in the Talkeetna Mountain Range that climbs from the chalet at 1000 ft to summits higher than 6,000 ft.
